- I have been umping FP softball for a few years now and started doing 18U College showcases so I felt it appropriate to upgrade my chest protector. Spent days researching and narrowed it down to the Champro Pro Plus and this P240. This took the prize for sure!! Although I liked the Champro, it was a little more bulky and just looked awkward once game shirt went on. The Champion is a lower profile but will take a shot without feeling anything at all. It’s light weight and has excellent flexibility and shoulder protection. Wore it for the first time last weekend and did 4 games in 85 degree weather. Very comfortable overall, I would definitely recommend checking t out. I’m keeping mine!
