- I’ve had several of the Benzomatic ones and the one constant issue is the ignitor always goes out and the last one I had I specifically didn’t use it much and it still went bad and occasionally did work but not what I’d say was dependable. And the last one had a tiny thin plastic knob that broke off and luckily I could still turn the metal rod but it ended up seizing up for no apparent reason and I couldn’t undo it without destroying it as obviously it’s brass. This one has a much larger metal wheel which is way better. I don’t know how well the starter/ignition will last but this is better than the model many sold recently.
