- Use the right size which means you need to know which one you’re going to use and how they work. Research and find instructions on how to determine which ones to use. When I removed my old Springs I noticed that they were shorter than everyone of the new ones. This just confuses me and now I wonder if my carburetor even had the right spring to begin with. I have had great results with the NewSpring so I am very happy I bought it. The only difficulty with the new Springs is sometimes it’s hard to determine their color but get yourself a bright light and you will be able to.
