Bose® Lifestyle® V35 Home Entertainment System-Black
$ 92.94
- First, I bought this on Amazon on Cyber Monday and it cost me $2672.10 – I also saved on state sales tax purchaseing from Amazon so my total savings was $833.00! That alone got it 5 stars! The assembly was so easy a child could do it – another 5 stars! Sound??? AMAZING another 5 stars!Crisp and clear – highs, mids, and lows are more than evident with this product. I have absolutely no problem with the center channel having any surround which “overpowers the dialogue” as mentioned in W. Cruz’s review. In fact, I find the center to be quite crisp and clear with the dialogue. The surround comes from the jewel cubes, and is pristine. The bass that comes out of the sub is more fantastic – there are definitely times when the room vibrates!If you’re looking for a center that’s 2ft wide, towers that are 4ft tall, surrounds that are a foot tall and long but over a foot wide, a myriad of wires, and hours of assembly; then the Bose Lifestyle v35, my friends, is not the system for you.The small, sleek design of the speakers are fantastic. Much better than the polk tower speakers and the huge polk center channel I used to have set up – which is not collecting dust in the basement. The receiver unit, MUCH better than the Onkyo receiver we had, which could fry an egg after being on for 2 minutes. The fact that I can hook up the wii, playstation, xbox, ipod, and whatever else is a plus in and of itself! I’ve never been more happy with a purchase than I am with this.Bose, in my opinion, is one of the best producers of premium sound, despite other’s reviews. Some may believe it to be over priced and those are the ones who fail to see the science behind Bose. You’re not only paying for the premium sound, but your paying for the science behind Bose that created the small, sleek design of the entire system that their competitors, such as Klipsch and Empire, simply can’t offer. Not one other company can put out a comparable speaker size that produces the quality sound a Bose speaker produces. Definitely, there are companies out there that can deliever a product with comparable sound at a cheaper price or even a better system at the same price (as mentioned in W. Cruz’s review); HOWEVER, you’re entire living room will be high-jacked by the tower speakers, surrounds, center channel, receiver, and 140lb subwoofer. NO THANK YOU. I will take the premium sound coming out of speakers that are barely noticable and easily hidden!Also, with the otheres, you’re buying everything in piecemeal – a receiver made by this company, speakers by that company, center channel by this other company, and the subwoofer by another. What a head ache. Bose brings convenience with the Lifestyle V35 as it’s an all-in-one system.I also want to mention that bought the Bose SL2 wireless surround link for my rear speakers at a later time. The pristine sound that comes from the wireless connection is exactly identical to the pristine sound coming from the wired connection. These other systems are all hard wired… have fun hiding the wires and running them through your walls, under carpets or where ever your going to run them.No matter where you go, you will run into the “Bose Bashers”. These are the people who complain about the price of Bose more than they do about the quality of Bose sound. Very rarely will you find a person that can make a valid argument on the sound that comes out of the speaker. In fact, most claim that there are comparable systems for less money and they’re right. They also claim that Bose is a marketing company – this is where I disagree. Bose delievers quality sound (yes, comparable to other systems for less money); however, it delievers the sound in a way that no other company can replicate – Bose delievers the sound from tiny speakers instead of the eyesore monstrosities that all of the “Bose Bashers” love!With all that said, I can’t wait to start expanding the system with the outdoor expansion and homewide expansion packages!
