- AEM is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. I’ve had this series of gauges in two of my turbo cars. You want the best of the best, get Defi. You want quality at a decent price get AEM. You want to “mod” your car to look cool get glow shift. These gauges are very accurate. I replaced some dated autometer gauges in a project car to get a better reading at the track. Will be buying a few more of these for my track car. For anyone that cares swapping the gauge face color is super easy, just pull off the protective clear film before you seal the gauge with the bezel.
