- Installed in 2011 Tacoma on rear wall, Had to get creative since the TOE of the jack extends above the top of the bed and would not allow the cover to close flush. So, I flipped it, but the handle does not sit flush due to the angle of this mounting bracket. Solution was to secure the jack handle underneath and it worked great. Added some washers & lock washers due to previous comments and bungied up my short shovel.CON-the small rubber feet they include to cushion the bottom of the bracket against your sidewall are worthless. It needs a boot of some kind that slips over the end, similar to a chair leg rubber boot. I left it off because I can see that slipping with some washboard roads.Other than that, wish I would have bought this years ago! [...]
