- I am using this hose adaptor to join a radiator to the diesel engine in a generator. This hose is 3″ in length which isn’t very long and doesn’t give much room for the clamps and if you wanted to double up the clamps there is no room. I’m thinking this part should be 4″ but would be more flexible in many application at 4.5″.
