- This is an updated review…some time had gone by after this purchase and frankly I had just written it off…But then I received a package from the company. It was a redesigned piece, and I have to say the product now exceeds my expectations. The retention system for the shells was redesigned, and is now also adjustable. The new product in my opinion is well worth the price.The fact they took the time to send a new piece, and a personal letter means quite a bit to me. They could have just ignored it, but they didn’t. They fixed the flaws in the product, and sent me the replacement to test.Great company, and I would highly recommend them.So, was hopeful for this but that quickly faded. It is a good looking piece, but after removing from the packaging I inserted a shell to test the fit. The shells are retained by little pieces of what look like felt or something that run the length of the carrier. Once you install the shell, that slot will no longer retain the shell because the cheap insert moves down into the carrier.This is junk, use your money for something better. Big waste
