- Was looking for a window rest for my camera gear while filming birds and wildlife from the car and didn’t like the idea of paying a lot for an empty bag that I have to fill with something like rice or dried beans etc so I gave this a try. It is small and solid and works well with my Canon R6 and big heavy telephoto lens. It is so small and light that if you leave it sit on top of the glass while you drive it may well fall out so the bigger heavier rests might work for you. You can also get one of those foam pipe insulation tubes and cut a piece for your window to use alone or underneath this rest. Note that it really shines if you use it out of the car on a fence or branch/log or prone or whatever to support a camera or obviously gun for that matter.
