- I have been a commercial landscaper and nurseryman for 41 years. Felco saws and pruners are by far the best. Under Amazon’s product description it says the country of origin of this saw is the Republic of Korea. I do not think this is correct because they have always been made in Switzerland which is why they are so excellent. ,About 15 years ago one of my managers ordered a dozen of a substitute, I believe it was Corona, for all of my crews to use . He was thinking he would save me a few bucks. That was a disaster! The substitute didn’t cut as well and they fell apart after a couple weeks of heavy use by the crew.
